The Lake County Tennis Association is proposing to apply to the California Department of Parks and Recreation to receive Proposition 68 grant funds. Our plan with the funds is to make big improvements to the tennis facility on Gard Street in Kelseyville.
An online survey conducted over the last six weeks has shown there is significant interest in pickleball. As a result, it is proposed that courts for this activity be included in the project.
Our Association will be holding a series of three community meetings where residents can provide input on recreational features, amenities and beautification projects that could be integrated into the facility.
To ensure the safety of Lake County residents, all the meetings will be held online. Each of the three meetings will be held twice on the same day, once in the morning and again in the evening.
