Board Meets to discuss Court Replacement Project

The Association Board met on March 11, 2020 to discuss plans to replace the quickly deteriorating Gard Street tennis courts. The Board reviewed a conceptual plan that included: constructing 5 tennis courts; 4 pickleball courts; new bathrooms and storage building; viewing and congregation areas along the west side of the courts as well as along Gard and Lincoln streets; and new parking area on both Gard and Lincoln. The improvements will bring the facility into ADA compliance and USTA standards.

It is hoped that funding for the project will come from a State Park and Recreation Prop 68 Grant. The County of Lake has agreed to apply for the grant once the State begins accepting applications. The grant requires the County to control the facilities. As a result the County will lease the property from the Kelseyville Unified School District.
